私たちについてAbout J CONNECT
「大学生同士が気軽に交流できる新しい場所を作りたい！」——そんな想いから生まれた、早稲田発のインカレ国際交流サークルです。日本の大学生も留学生も、ここで出会って友達に。“We want to create a new place where university students can connect casually!” That idea is how J CONNECT began — an intercollegiate international-exchange circle based around Waseda, where Japanese and international students meet and become friends.

Our Story
「あったらいいな」を、自分たちの手で。Building the place we wished existed.
J CONNECTのはじまりは、「大学生同士が気軽に交流できる新しい場所を作りたい！」というシンプルな想いでした。留学生も日本人学生も、国や大学の垣根を越えて、肩ひじ張らずに話せる場所。それを自分たちでつくってみよう——そうして企画したのが、最初のミートアップです。J CONNECT started with a simple wish: to create a new place where university students could connect casually. Somewhere international and Japanese students could talk freely, across countries and campuses. So we decided to build it ourselves — and planned our very first meetup.

初めての学生ミートアップOur first student meetup
会場は渋谷のPerry's Bar。当日はたくさんの学生が集まり、初対面同士でもすぐに打ち解けて、共通の趣味や大学生活の話で大盛り上がりでした。At Perry's Bar in Shibuya, lots of students showed up. Even total strangers opened up quickly, bonding over shared hobbies and university life.

渋谷の金曜夜が定番にFriday nights in Shibuya
その後、Perry's Bar Shibuyaでの「International Meetup」が金曜夜の定番に。20時から22時まで、ドリンク片手に気軽に話せる夜です。Friday-night International Meetups at Perry's Bar Shibuya became our regular thing: 8 to 10 pm, drink in hand, easy conversation.

コラボ企画とクラブナイトへCollabs & club nights
3月には学生団体Shiftの「THE PLAYGROUND」（恵比寿）とコラボ。さらにクラブイベント「MEET UP PARTY」もスタート。クラブが初めての人でも楽しめるよう企画しています。In March we teamed up with student org Shift for THE PLAYGROUND in Ebisu, and started MEET UP PARTY club nights — designed so even first-time clubbers feel comfortable.
「今後も皆さんの『あったらいいな』を形にできるようなイベントを企画していきます」。これからも、参加してくれるみんなと一緒にこの場所を育てていきます。“We’ll keep planning events that turn your ‘wouldn’t it be nice if…’ into reality.” We’ll keep growing this place together with everyone who joins.

参加者の多くが一人で来ています。初参加でも大丈夫。帰るころには、新しい友達ができているはず。Lots of people come on their own, and first-timers are always welcome. Arrive solo, leave with new friends.
日英どちらでもJP & EN both OK
日本語でも英語でもOK。完璧じゃなくて大丈夫、話してみたい気持ちがあれば会話は弾みます。Japanese or English — both are fine. No need to be fluent; a little curiosity goes a long way.

会場に着いたら受付へ。事前予約の人は前売り料金で参加できます。Check in when you arrive. Booked in advance? You get the cheaper advance price.

1ドリンク付き。近くの人と自己紹介から。初対面同士でも自然と打ち解けられる雰囲気です。One drink is included. Start by saying hi to people nearby — strangers open up surprisingly fast.

フリートーク＆ゲームFree talk & games
趣味のこと、大学生活のこと、お互いの国のこと。話題は自由、ゲームで会話が広がることも。Hobbies, uni life, where everyone’s from — talk about anything. Games help get conversations going.

22時にいったん解散。仲良くなった人と2次会に行くのも自由です。We wrap up at 10 pm. Heading out with new friends afterwards is totally up to you.

早稲田生じゃなくても参加できる？Can I join if I’m not a Waseda student?
はい！J CONNECTは早稲田を拠点にしたインカレサークルで、東京のどの大学の学生も大歓迎です。Yes! We’re an intercollegiate circle based around Waseda, and students from any university in Tokyo are welcome.
一人でも大丈夫？Is it OK to come alone?
もちろんです。参加者の多くが一人で来ていて、初参加の方も大歓迎。安心して来てください。Absolutely. Many people come alone, and first-timers are always welcome.
英語が話せなくても大丈夫？Do I need to speak English (or Japanese)?
大丈夫です！日本語でも英語でもOK。上手に話せるかより、話してみたい気持ちが大切です。No worries! Japanese and English are both fine. Wanting to chat matters more than being fluent.
参加費と支払い方法は？How much does it cost, and how do I pay?
イベントによって異なります。金曜夜のInternational Meetup（渋谷 Perry's Bar）は前売り¥1,000／当日¥1,500〜2,000（1ドリンク込み）。MEET UP PARTYは前売り¥1,000／当日¥1,500（1ドリンクチケット付き）。前売り料金はInstagramのDMまたはMeetupで事前予約すると適用されます。支払い方法などの詳細は、DMでお気軽にお問い合わせください。It depends on the event. Friday International Meetups at Perry’s Bar Shibuya are ¥1,000 in advance / ¥1,500–2,000 at the door (1 drink included). MEET UP PARTY is ¥1,000 in advance / ¥1,500 at the door (with 1 drink ticket). Book ahead via Instagram DM or Meetup to get the advance price. For payment details, just send us a DM.
年齢制限は？Is there an age limit?
大学生向けのイベントです。20歳未満の方は飲酒できませんが、ソフトドリンクがあるので安心して参加できます。Our events are for university students. If you’re under 20 you can’t drink alcohol, but soft drinks are available, so you can still join in.
服装は？What should I wear?
基本的には普段着でOKです。テーマのあるイベントやクラブイベントで案内がある場合は、Instagramの告知をチェックしてください。Everyday clothes are fine. For themed events or club nights, check our Instagram posts in case there’s anything to note.
予約なしで行ける？Can I show up without booking?
当日参加もできますが、当日料金になります。前売りの方がお得なので、事前予約がおすすめです。Yes, but you’ll pay the door price. Booking in advance is cheaper, so we recommend it.
キャンセルは？What if I need to cancel?
予定が変わった場合は、InstagramのDMでご連絡ください。If your plans change, just let us know via Instagram DM.
